I was thinking the same thing BUT...I also thought THIS...Alex & Meredith are supposedly gonna bond and stuff next season...what if Lexie is WHY they bond? What if Alex and Lexie's little hookup gets Alex talking to Meredith about her?

Yeah i did consider that, cause i think the season will start very friend orientated (rather than couples) because of merder and burktina breaking up. i think we will see a lot of closeness between the interns (well gizzie may cause problems LOL but other than that) cause towards the end of the season any happy scenes tended to focus on them as friends.
So i do think mer and alex will become closer. i hope so anyway! and i just cant wait to see how the mer/lexie relationship develops! I guess Alexie would give it all an interesting twist!

I like what DeeDee and you (Sara) were saying about the whole friendship stuff. I remember Shonda saying that Alex was like, the male version of Meredith so I can see them completely bondin' it up! Whether it is Lexie that gets them to bond or not, I don't know - but I hope the friendship DOES happen because these are two characters that don't interact THAT much. Plus, maybe this will mean we'll be learning more about Alex this season...
