oooo i don't think it's a dream sequence I think they just made it look that way for fluffy happy time effects for the promo. Hmmmm. HM. Okay maybe I'm just an optimist, lol

Alot of people seem to think its a dream sequence because of the lighting but it could have been easilly edited for the promo. They have done this before with there promos. Shonda is just trying to mess with us. I highly doubt its a dream.

They are at the hospital which makes me believe even more that it isnt a dream sequence.

It's such an amazingly hot kiss and its only, like 3 seconds long? I love it :wub: . Maybe i am being overly optimistic too but at least we get some sort of sign that they are together or something.

I also read some coments on the youtube and they said someone's head is in the backround, I can't seem to make it out. If someone else notices this, can you tell me at what time of the promo you can see it? I can't seem to make anything out of that comment.

I'll download the promo in a bit from youtube, and then ill cut just that scene and put it in slowmo. Yeah first thing I noticed was Derek's wearing a labcoat...that just doesnt seem like dream attire to me. And yeah I totally think it was edited for the promo. I'll use my super slueth skills in a bit ;)

Yea, i agree. It definitely does not seem like a dream scene.

If it was a dream why would it be at the hospital, i think it would be at a more private place, like at mers house or something. And derek is in his labcoat .

It just doesnt seem right, the lighting of the scene is very very tricky.

I firmly believe it was added for the promo. I mean it's so easy to do...lol BUT I dont ever remember any of the other dream sequences on the show having that lighting effect, I think they were brightened but not overlighted quite that much. OR...they are in the MRI room, ever notice the lighting in there? Its very bright around the machine itself but when you get to the observation are its kinda dark, therefore if Mer is against the wall her face and Derek's back would catch the light from the bright end of the room. Wow, I need a life.

I think thats where they are :). I just couldnt figure out where they were but i totally forgot about the MRI rooms. I never thought about that! Now it all fits, because they seem like they are in a secluded area of the hospital.
