Title: Ausiello scoops
Mactilda - October 3, 2007 08:01 AM (GMT)
I thaught I'd make a new topic just for TV-guide's Michael Ausiello....
Well this weeks Grey's scoop....
Question: Did Shonda Rimes mislead everyone? Is she reviving Gizzie instead of killing it? It sure looked that way in the premiere and the preview for this week's episode. Christine
Ausiello: Oh, Christine. My poor, sweet, naive Christine. You should know by now that those promos only tell half the story. Take it from someone who has seen the entire episode that's me! Gizzie is dealt a setback this Thursday when George chooses
um
let's just say he makes an important decision that sets the stage for Episode 3, "Let the Truth Sting." Keep in mind, Shonda strongly hinted that Gizzie wouldn't start to come undone until news of their fling made its way around Seattle Grace. I believe what you witnessed in last week's opener was the snuggle before the s**tstorm. Another scoopbit: Derek also makes a decision at the end of the episode, and it's one that'll make all you Mer-Der fans swoon.
Question: Can you please provide some Grey's Anatomy scoop? Preferably on whether or not Cristina will get a new love interest. Susan
Ausiello: Before she can get a new love interest, she has to purge the old one from her system. And she'll do just that this Thursday when Mama Burke drops by Seattle Grace to administer a dose of tough love. And Cristina isn't the only person she goes all Dr. Phil on. As I teased in this week's Ausiello Report vodcast, Diahann Carroll takes Meredith to task for the "selfish" and "inappropriate" thing she did in last May's season finale. And don't even think of asking me for a hint. You know full well what thing I'm referring to.
Question: I hear you've seen this week's Grey's. Please tell me it's better than the season premiere. Izzie tending to a deer? WTF? Carol
Ausiello: OMG, I totally forgot to tell you the most important thing about Thursday's installment: It's fraktacular! If you were longing for the good ol' Grey's, I'm happy to tell you it makes a triumphant comeback tomorrow night. It had all the snap, crackle and pop of a Season 2 episode. And speaking of triumphs, Chandra Wilson gives a performance that has "2008 Emmy Reel" written all over it. I know it's early, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that supporting-actress trophy is hers to lose.
Welll looking good...I think....

Mactilda - November 14, 2007 11:07 AM (GMT)
THis weeks scoop:
Question: Is Seth Green's Grey's Anatomy gig still happening, or has it been scrapped due to the strike? Geoffrey
Ausiello: His two-episode stint has already been shot and will air. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Joshua Jackson's arc, which has been delayed indefinitely. Bummer, too, since I just found out which Seattle Grace doc he was going to be paired with, and it's pretty much the last person I would've suspected. And trust me, that's a good thing. I probably shouldn't tell you who it is since the script isn't even written yet and, therefore is subject to change
. Oh, what the hell (Major spoiler alert): It's Cristina! That's right, Yang was/is supposed to rebound with Pacey!
Question: Is Callie really gone on Grey's Anatomy? I know a lot of people don't like Sara Ramirez's character, but she is absolutely one of my favorite parts of the show! Chris
Ausiello: Sara's not going anywhere
PANIC!102 - November 14, 2007 04:31 PM (GMT)
I'm glad that Callie is not going anywhere but what the heck is she going to do....
And as you Cristina completely unexpected! I thought it would be Mer...
McEline - November 14, 2007 05:22 PM (GMT)
Cristina is unexpected indeed... wonder if they're still going to write it sometime...

this week:
Question: I'm over the Der-Mer drama. Got any Grey's Anatomy scoop not related to those two sad sacks? Gina
Ausiello: That final pre-strike episode of Grey's will part with tradition in a major way: Someone other than Meredith will be doing the narration. And his/her name is
*a*l**. Also, there's a reason for the VO switcheroo and it's a tragic one.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaa Is it Callie? Is there ANYONE else that matches that??? A TRAGIC one??? I'm going crazy!!!

It's great the the writers strike doesn't change anything about the airing of Grey's :D

Well it does unfortunatly. There are only 11 epis filmed (and written) for this season. we have seen 8. We're soon up for major withdrawl.....
McBored - November 30, 2007 10:40 PM (GMT)
Question: The spoiler you gave last week about someone replacing Meredith as narrator in Episode 11 of Grey's Anatomy is just killing me. Can you give me anything else? Melissa
Ausiello: The new narrator is not Callie.
Question: Is it Bailey? Dani
Ausiello: The new narrator is
yes, it's Bailey. And as I teased last week, there's a reason behind her temporary promotion and it ain't pretty.
Question: OMG! Something's happening to Bailey? Nooooooooooo! Laurie
Ausiello: Physically? No. Emotionally? Yes. Let's just say that random scene last week of Bailey at home with her husband and kid will make a lot more sense when Episode 11 airs early next year.
Good news- Not callie. Bad news- Bad stuff with Bailey.

I know, right? NOBODY has had a successful marriage! NOBODY!

Question: You mentioned a while back that George's mom was returning to Grey's Anatomy. Did the strike push that back? Marie
Ausiello: That's what I'm hearing. According to my Seattle Grace mole, Mama O'Malley's return originally slated for November sweeps was delayed until Episode 11, aka the show's final pre-strike episode. That probably explains why George had little to do during the just-wrapped two-parter. Why'd they move her out of sweeps? Well, per my spy, when it became clear that eppy 11 might be the final hour of Grey's we get in a long time, the script underwent "massive rewrites" to ramp up the drama and add several cliff-hangers one of which involves George's old lady. "They're pretty big bombshells," says the source. "Basically, everyone's futures are left up in the air." Well, not everyone's. As I reported in this week's Ausiello Report vodcast, by the end of the episode there will be little doubt which direction the Mer/Derek/Rose triangle is headed in.
Question: Earlier this season, you teased that someone's getting divorced on Grey's Anatomy, and it's not who we'd expect. After reading your Bailey/narration spoiler, it has me thinking that it's her. Lauren
Ausiello: I can neither confirm nor deny that Bailey will be getting a divorce this season on Grey's Anatomy.
PANIC!102 - December 14, 2007 02:26 AM (GMT)
When i read this
one of which involves George's old lady. "They're pretty big bombshells,"
I thought oh my god izzie is pregnant for some reason...
And Bailey is screwed in the end of this it seems
For some reason I think Tucker is going to kill himself...
I hope not because Bailey doesn't need that...
Or hopefully nothing bad happens to baby Tuck
hmmm.... wow i have no idea why i think any of this...
Mactilda - December 14, 2007 08:07 PM (GMT)
I was thinking Callie's pregnant.....
I've watched the vodcast....I do NOT look forward to that part...
McBored - December 15, 2007 02:15 PM (GMT)
MACTILDA!! where have u been? :P :P :P :P You'd better come on again soon, LOL
Cait - December 15, 2007 10:55 PM (GMT)
OMG I hope someone is pregnant!
McBored - December 16, 2007 03:23 PM (GMT)
I'm thinking Callie's pregnant. That would probably be the reason for George's mom. After all, why mention Callie wanting a baby when they were going to break up early the next season? Doesn't make too much sense.
Caddie_Is_Love - December 16, 2007 05:43 PM (GMT)
Yeah. My friend and I werre speculating about that, and we think she's gonna turn out pregnant. She, however, thinks she's going to lose it.
