So I'm just curious what everyone thinks of Colin Marlowe. I won't post my opinion yet to keep people from being influenced by it.

I find him really freaking creepy! I don't like him at all!! He creeps me out and he needs to stop making trouble for Cristina and Burke! Ugh. He looks elastic too. haha. like his skin stretches its kinda gross. haha.

He's an UBER ass. I didn't find him too bad the last episode but this episode...sheesh. he's a jerk!

he should be the one blamed for trying to step up everyone and it's not even the hospital that he works at. It's lookin' good for Mark right now though in the ways of Chief

Well for me right now he's a pain in the ass...he thinks he's so good...and he's dangerous vor Christina and Burke...!

Not that he's annoying... I just don't want him getting in the way of Christina and Burke's relationship - which I've already grown to like! I don't want Marlowe coming in and creating tension because he obviously still loves Christina.

It would sorta be good if he got the job as cheif because then nothing would change between derek and preston or like addison or mark.. so everyone will stay friends! lol maybbe not though..lol

this guy creeps me out too. hope he doesn't stick around for long. the writers shouldn't keep adding characters, as guests for several epis, fine, but not as regulars. i'm still hopeful webber stays as chief.

you know, me too actually! I don't want the chief to retire, and I think that may have been what he meant by his cryptic remark to bailey when bailey was like so is marlowe going to be the new chief? and he said goodnight dr bailey or something like that. I think what will happen in the end is that the chief will get sick of all the fighting between the attendings and he will just not retire. Which works fine for me, because I like the chief :D but I most certainly cannot stand Colin Marlowe. UGH. When Cristina said Please Leave and he didn't, I seriously wanted to smack him. He's like a disease that you can't get rid of or something, infecting Derek and Burke during their surgeries! and infecting burke and cristina's relationship! he's just evil :angry:

well I don't really know what motive he has to leave now anyway. the only reason he was considering it before was because Adele wanted him to but he doesn't have a chance with her anymore.

Well of course we'll all miss him...and the development of his chracter is sure not easy...but I'm still wondering what he'll do after he retires...will he just say bye and leave the show?

So how do you think the writers will write him out? He goes too far on a surgery, and the Chief kicks him dramatically out of his hospital? Or he just sort of fades into the background and STOPS TALKING omg everytime I see his obnoxious behind, I keep thinking STOP TALKING and PLEASE LEAVE honestly, that's how you tell the evil people from the good people. If they have plans, you know they're evil. Finn had all kinds of plans... and Colin Marlowe had---agh even worse plans for a definite amount of time---a ten year plan! And and he tweaks! Ugh who tweaks! Good people don't tweak. It'll be hard, you know the Chief is obsessed with making his hospital look good, and apparently, Colin Marlowe is "the brightest thing to happen to cardiothoracics in a generation" or whatever crazy crap Burke said. Honestly, I was like yea, yea how do we get rid of him? Ooh, maybe the board doesn't approve of his attitude and they get rid of him. Or he tries to tell the chief how to do a surgery in the middle of him being in surgery. That would get rid of him pretty fast! orrrr...the nurses are pretty feisty.... maybe something like this happens: :uhoh:
