Talk about tonight's episode here. I can't wait!

i hate to say this, but it was very ehh.

It was good, but not as fraktacular as Ausiello said it was, so I was expecting it to be a little better! Pooor Callie though and Izzie needs to go fall in a ditch.

OK, so officially (not like anybody knew it before) freaking Izzie and George are on my shit list! OFFICIALLY. I hate them and I don't care who knows it!
thats all I'm gonna say on that subject. grr.. because if I start to say more I'll get myself all worked up again and I want to be happy. HAPPY CRYSTAL. Ok..moving on.

the chief- Ok, buddy... i get that you're having a hard time DELEGATING but you need to ease up on Callie, if you wanted someone to be your lap dog you shouldve gave the damn job to Bailey.

alex- how EFFING cute was he, you know when he wasnt punched in the face! lol. Ok, he was out of hand and he deserved to be punched because thats not how you deal with drug dealers DUMMY but omfg so cute with the baby. SO CUTE.

callie- ok, stop messing with Callie...she so knows, SHE SO KNOWS I mean come on IZZIE she's not stupid! George asked to talked to her and now Izzie sucks up to her.. HELLO CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!

Mark & Derek- again with the cuteness, last week they killed me with Mark saying "I came to get you back" that was awesome...but this week its like theyre starting to be friends again and Mark needs an HONORABLE man by his side again lol.

Momma Burke- TOTALLY SCARY, but totally made up for her scariness by the things she said to Cristina.

Cristina- How freaking sad...I think she's starting to become HUMAN, she's going through so much..she needs a freaking hug.

Ok... MEREDITH pissed me OFF in this episode beyond all measures! omfg, dude ok... she has issues but here her issue is staring at her all day and she blows it off why? because she's a chicken, they need to stop making her so weak.. ok her father chose Lexie, but WTF, Lexie didn't chose this.. Lexie isnt a bad person...Thatcher is! WTF...Shonda seriously.. get it right.

Bailey and Alex- FTW! haha I love them, theyre like connected somehow, they get each other.. its awesome.

I dont know what else to comment on so I'll leave it here. LOL

all in all, good episode but as usual the gizziness totally grossed me out... VOMIT IN MOUTH. grr.

Oi, the chief reeaaally ticked me off in this episode. I mean, his wife isn't even talking to him, and yet he has the right to yell at Callie?? :angry: Not cool. Not and I say not rockstar. Give her a darn break.

Alex was my favorite guy in this episode. He was so awesome, did you see the way he held that baby?? :wub: So friggin cut i couldn't believe it. But he was being awesome.

I thought it was a good episode. Unfortunately, they are leaning torwards "mallie" rather than the "mcStiz" but at least then Callie would be with someone who understands her. I liked their scenes together. really. they have a cute friendship.

Izzie--what are you thinking?????? Mrs. Obvious!! :blink: :blink:

everybody let's give a loud round of applause to Crystal for her very intense and insightful analysis. yikes this is gonna be tough to follow up.

this episode wasn't "spectacular" but I still liked it. come on I like them all. uh... yeah I was pretty disappointed at how Callie was pretty much blamed for everything that she couldn't possibly prevent and I think the chief was really annoying too. with his whole delegating thing especially. it's not cute when a 150 year old man is saying it.

MerDer had like three scenes I think and they were alright but nothing really happened. and I thought it was weird how Mama Burke was having all these deep and friendly conversations with people in the hospital but when Meredith came she was just flat out mean. oh and I was surprised because in the spoilers it said she would talk to Meredith about something "inappropriate" so I thought that it was when Meredith literally cut apart Cristina's wedding dress to get it off but I guess not. I didn't even know that Mama Burke knew about Meredith and Derek...? I guess Burke told her...? they must have absolutely nothing else to talk about.

Alex... needs to shave... but other than that I really liked him in this episode. I kinda liked how he was showing that dad who's boss up until the point where he was on the ground unconscious. and that scene between him and Bailey.

I must say I haven't really liked Bailey this season. she seems really immature and just not herself. probably cuz she's not in that position of power that I'm used to. but I still wasn't expecting her to be immature. like when she goes behind Callie's back or when she's like begging for help from Meredith as if they're best buds.

I think Meredith's being a real jerk to poor Lexie. Lexie's mom just died too. and her dad has bad drinking problems since that incident (omg that's what was in Sara's fanfic!) and she needs somebody. Meredith is pretty much the only person she has too. that's why I was kinda happy to see her yelling at Meredith in the previews for next week.

I really liked the scenes between Derek and Mark and I can already tell that they're gonna be tight this season. even though I couldn't hear like half the dialogue in their scenes. but I'm assuming it's good dialogue since Derek wasn't socking Mark in the face or anything.

I don't know what to thing about George and Izzie. I mean I kinda feel bad for them because they're in love and in a sticky situation. but I'm also kinda pissed cuz they've known each other for a whole year and could have sorted this out before George became, I don't know, married.

well I'm getting to the point where I'm too tired and just rambling on about things that people already clearly know or don't care about, including this sentence, so I'll just leave it at that.

Its scary how much stuff from my fics keep happening, LOL.

Lexie is exactly how I wrote her. its VERY odd, in both the summer fic thread and both of my other fics. Even Meredith lashing out at her and making her cry. I'm telling you...Shonda stalks me.

Plus, if Shonda says Meredith is like her, she need to go to therapy, because she really hate herself!
She is making BAILEY hateable!!, Bailey, she is my hero, she is the coolest person ever and she is making people hate her!!, WTF??
And Gizzie?, seriously, she is making even more people to hate Izzie!, she broke Izzie, she was likeable and she BROKE her!

Callie hadn't an easy easy day, but I think her reactions were beliveble. I have a sad feeling that she wont be able to handle the work until her peronal life is sorted out, and that will take a while (maybe too long for her keeping the job). But we'll see. The sad thing about Callie is that she used to be this indipendent, succesful woman and now she's just an emotional wreck. (preg. hormons?) I guess that's what love do with you...
Callie and Mark work, I like when they show a more human Mark...I liked the Mallie hints :)
I don't know what to say about George...... he used to be sweet lovable George and now he's just..... well NOT likable...
Izzie.... I kind of liked Izzie in this episode (sorry Chrystal :) ), The thing she said to the old man: Just because people do horrible things doesn't necessairly mean they're horrible people (or something like that), spoke to me. Maybe she isn't a horrible person.... It felt good that she at least showed that she's human and for the FIRST time felt bad for what she had done. You can't help what you're feeling but you got to take responsibility to your actions. (I didn't like the Mer/Cristina/Iz - scene though...she was really annoying in that).

Bailey - she was more of her old self again in this episode.
Chief: Come on?! Not OK!
Alex: You can tell Justin Chambers is a father of five... OMG how cute he looked with the baby.
Meredith: I'm getting tired of her.... I didn't like her in season 2 and if this episode was anything like season 2 it was the Meredith-part...

Just got done watching the episode. It was pretty good...nothing too extreme seemed to happen though, but that's alright.

Meredith is officially a bitch though and I'm starting to not like her at all.

Shonda is killing the characters, she is killing Mer and that pisses me off beyond reason. I think my Torrent will be more busy downloading CSI and The Office than Grey's from now on.
Making main characters hateable seems like a trend... and I think that trend needs to dissapear. If Shonda hates her own main female character so much, she maybe should have keep her in the hospital limbo with Denny, Dylan and Doc instead of trowing her super perfect sister in her face and making her look rude to her only to make people hate her so they can bring a new love interest for Derek... Because that is so cheap I'm starting to think soap opera' storylines are made with better taste than this.
The only thing I had to say is I hope someday her storyline with Lexie will grow likw my personal history with my half sister, because when I met her I was a hundred times worse than Mer... but now after all this years, I love her and we are really close right now. In fact, she saw the episode with me and told me "Oh, this looks a little familiar.. but less dramatic" (yeah, you heard it, LESS dramatic, so imagine how big of a bitch I was... I'm very ashamed of myself for being that rude to her, btw).
I also think Lexie is way too naive to believe Mer will love her like in one day or something, that's not how life works.
And MerDer, I love them, I do, but Shonda is messing with them big time and I hate that. Plus, they are both to blame for this. Mer is to blame because she don't let him in and he is to blame for asking too much after what? a few days since they "broke up"?. they need to talk... And oh breaking news to Shonda: WRITING A CONVERSATION IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT!!
I hope someday I can watch again without feeling this sad, empty and angry.

So I watched it finally today! and I really loved Alex with the baby, but there was one thing I didn't understand... did the baby die? because it looked like he was dead (with the blanket and everything) but afterwards they were talking like he was ok???
I loved Cristina trading all the weddinggifts for surgeries, but I didn't like Meredith this episode... why can't she just be happy and in love? Yes I know what happened between her and her father, but can't she get over that?

haha you'd think that with everything that's happened to her, another drastic thing would be like a day in the park and she would just shrug it off like it's nothing. I guess that's not how it works. :/

poor callie! i cant believe nice george is doing this.. callie was suspicious of him from the very beginning, i guess she was right.

-i wish Callie had an easier time but she is Callie and so i have total faith that she will bounce back
-i'm loving the der/mark friendship, they need each other
-alex is being very cute and i loved the scene between him and bailey


BUT i have to disagree with pretty much everyone about Meredith Lol! I think that she reacted pretty reasonbly to Lexie:
-Lexie is VERY nice, i like her and i think she is a cool character but
-if your Dad left you at the age of 5 and then was a loving father towards his next two daughters you would probably feel slightly bitter, undervalued, insecure, and basically pissed off therefore
-you probably wouldn't be too happy at being forced to play nice with his other daughter especially because she is so nice and smart and funny!
-all in all i think Meredith at least told Lexie straight, she explained herself, apologised when she was mean and tried to make Lexie see why they couldn't be friends or sisters.

Not that i blame Lexie and it sucks that her Mum died and that she is going through some crap!

So to summerise i love Meredith, i like Lexie, and i think they are both doing exactly what they as charcters would do!


Oh and as for MerDer, i adore Derek for trying so hard and also for seeign that Meredith wasn't ready and accepting it! and i think Meredith is doing what she thinks is right, i don't blame her for leading him on with the sex BECAUSE i honestly think she is blind to the hurt she is causing him.
