my first siggy ever! I can only use paint and this is made very quickly (yesterday I searched for the pictures and today I put it together...)
Can somebody tell me how I can put several pictures in paint? because when I have put one picture in it, and I want to do a second one, he put the second one above the first one... So now have I done it in word and then to paint and then you get a really strange effect:



can somebody tell me how I can do it without this effect?

Hey Eline! I love the theme for your sig! Great job! I've learned that about word before as well lol. There's an easier way ;) First, you have to set up a blank pic for the base. I'll show you how to do it in paint, and then I'll show you in photoshop. First, open up a new paint window. There is already a blank page in there right? Set the size for your siggy. As I usually make my siggies to be 500 by 200, we'll go with that for now, but you can pretty much make your siggies any size you want ;) So go to image, then attributes and set the size to be 500 by 200. Then open a second paint window and go to file, open and open the pic you want. Edit this pic so that it's small enough to fit in the siggy space you made. For cropping, you can either use the select tool to highlight which part of the pic you want. Then hit image, clear image. Then hit edit, paste, and the part you wanted will appear. The other way is to use the adjustable blue tabs. They're very small and on the right and bottom sides of your pic. However, as you can only crop the right and bottom sides, you will have to go to image flip/rotate to crop the left and top sides of the pic. Then flip your picture back to normal when you're finished. Those are the two ways to crop. Crop all the pics that you want to put in your siggy so that they will fit. Open all the pics in separate windows for themselves. Then, in the window of one of your pics, hit edit select all, then copy. Then go back to the blank base of your siggy and hit paste. You can move around the pic to whereever you want it.

Now in photoshop, things are much easier than ^ lol because you can have multiple windows open in the one big psp window. The concept is pretty much the same in photoshop. The first layer is blank. You'll have to hit file, new and then set how big you want your siggy. Then in the same photoshop window hit file open and open all the pics you will need. edit them, and then drag them into the blank pic you began with. They will each become separate layers, which you will see on the right hand side of your window. Hit select all and use the drag tool, it will look kind of like a plus sign on the toolbar window on your left. I really hope this all helps. :) I'm so excited to see your new siggy and I hope to see many more from you! :D

Oops! lol sorry Crystal! I didn't see your post. You can probably teach some more stuff with photoshop though lol. I'm not that great with photoshop, I'm better with photosuite :P

Now I only have put some lines around it and it completly changed (at least it looks like...) hehe now I discover how much some little things can do!

it's beautiful! and you can brush that out, just paint over it in the same orange color, use your eyedropper tool ;)
