Okay do you guys know the story of Ipacac/Ipecac on Grey's? I'm just cruious because grey'saddict is Ippy in the fic thread and I wanted to see if you guys knew his backstory and if you don't I'll spill the beans on how to get to the easter egg explaining him on the Season 1 dvd.

Alright, second disc of Season 1, go to bonus features. Highlight "main menu" and push UP. A red cross will appear, click it.

In that case, Ipecac is a little doll that is ALWAYS in the show (well supposedly) hes a little inuit doll and he has a little fur coat on, and he's almost always at the nurses station. I wish I could find a picture of him...

ok, did my research, but this is all i could find. i know there's a list of season2 sightings somewhere, but i couldn't find the site anymore. please note that i copied this list from another site, so not certain about accuracy


1x02: It's on the nurse's station sitting in the very corner of the lowest counter, I think Cristina and George are in that scene but I'm not certain.

1x03: Ipacac is in front of George when he is filling out charts sitting at the nurses' station.

1x05: On the desk in the scene where Cristina finds out Burke was the surgeon who left the towel in the patient with lung cancer . It's also visible in the nurses' station before that.

1.05: On desk in scene where Cristina finds out Burke was the surgeon who left the towel in lung-cancer lady.

1x06: Next to the computer screen that Alex and the lab tech are studying a tumor on.

1x07: On the desk in front of Meredith when she is studying Claire's lab results on the computer. Very quick flash of him over Izzie's shoulder as she walks past the nurse's station.

1x08: In the beginning on the episode it's visible behind the abortion clinic lady's desk, when she is trying to talk to Cristina about her options. Then it magically flies back to the nurse's station when Cristina asks Bailey if she can switch from psychic guy to another patient. After that Ipacac sits on the breast cancer patient's nightstand for the rest of the episode.

1.08: At nurse's station when Cristina asks Bailey if she can switch from psychic guy to another patient.

1x09: He is also all over this episode starting with a shot of him in the previews. At the nurse's station when George first tells Olivia about his "itch" and then later when Cristina and Izzie are asking Bailey about an autopsy on drunk-dad guy. It's also on the counter behind Meredith & Derek in the secret phone calls scene.
