Forgive me, but I'm sure this has been posted before, but How long have you been watching, and what attracted you to the show if you haven't been watching since the first season?

I am a new forum member and I love the show, I have only been watching since this season. I only started watching because that's all my friends have been talking about. Thursdays were a "no no" evening. Don't even think about planning something on a Thursday evening...are u crazy?

hahahah yeah thats how it is with me and my friends too! well some of them.lol but the first episode I have ever watched was "it's the end of the world.." and then "as we know it." its like in the middle of season 2. but I loved it soo much I have been watching it on tv ever since!! and then I went out and bought the 1st season! haha and then I bought the 2nd. and I cant wait to buy the 3rd!!! :D

Here's my story...: A friend of mine saw the show, and he loved it... and so he started telling us, "Watch it, is thursday's night at Sony "(actually now's monday nights) and i was like.. "yeah.." but i never watched it 'cause i forgot and stuff... so another friend who started watching it got hooked up imediatly and she bought the first season and she was like "Nata watch it... c'mon, it's great" and i didn't, so one day she gave a dvd box and i was like... :huh: and she told me .."just watch it", it was the first season, so i went into my house, and i had nothing to do and i played the dvd's and BADABAM!! i loved it!!! (and you remember the ending of first season right?) so i was like... i NEED to watch the next episode!! and luckly the second season's repetition by sony channel was starting that same week so i took it from there... hahah and they created a MONSTER! hahahhaha-- my christmas presents where the dvd's and stuff... ahahaha

i started watching it cuz my mom told me to. apparently she had been watching it from the start but i never knew about it. i remember seeing the previews for it though and i thought it looked kinda stupid so i hated it for a while. yeah i know go ahead throw food at me. but then when i watched the very first episode cuz they were playing reruns i kinda liked it but then the week after i saw "thanks for the memories" and i liked it a little more and then i bought the season and watched it all in one day with my friend and that's when i became obsessed.

Now that's something my mom would never tell me to do, watch a tv show. I started watching from the start. I saw commercials for it and at that time I was a TV addict and was watching TV all the time and there was no good shows on at the time so it took the time slot and had me hooked by the end of the first season but I wasn't exactly obsessed yet but after season two started I was in it for the long haul.

I started watching thanks to my friend Anna. She turned me on to the show in the middle of the second season. She then bought me Season 1. I got caught up on season 2 when my person Sara bought me it and I havent missed an episode of Season 3!

I loooove this show.

Here's my Grey's story.

First episode I ever saw was "No Man's Land", I had been trying to catch it because I'm a die hard Katherine fan but work and stuff prevented me from getting to watch it and then i didn't have DVR. So that was the only episode I saw until "It's the End of the World" I had basically forgotten about the show but managed to catch it after the football game and I was like OMFG how did I NOT watch this? Then my Mom bought me Season 1 for my bday and I downloaded Season 2 and caught myself up.

There is no still. I do it because I enjoy doing it, not because I'm expecting something. You deserve it, so I'm giving you what you deserve :)

My best friend and her mom were obssesed with greys and they kept bugging me to watch it, and when I finally did I fell in love with it (:

I just ended up finding it one eveing when I was channel surfing, it was in its first season I only missed like the first two episodes, but I was hooked immediately, I finished out the first season then watched the reruns to catch the missed episodes.

I just started about 3 weeks ago while I was writing a paper for my political science class. I needed to take something off of my mind on my breaks and since I couldn't find anything on tv worth watching (late night/early morning...about 3 am) I put in the DVD of season 1 that I got my mom for christmas. She lent it to me a while back, but I never got around to it. So in a day and a half I finished season one. I was planning on going to get season 2 the next day cuz I was hooked. But because of a huge snow storm(tuesday night&wednesday night) I didn't get it until that Friday. I have been hooked ever since and trying to find all of the episodes that I have missed of season 3. I nearly have seen them all...just four more....

The first episode I watched was Great Expectations I missed the one after that cuz I still wasnt' addicted then I watched Walk on Water and was addicted after that... then I went to walmart and they had season one on sale so I scooped that up watched that one night then went and rented season 2 I am caught up now but still want more more more

I watched the first episode by accident and I was hooked. I have never missed an episode :wub:

I saw a preview on tv... the first episode I couldn't see but I saw the second one and since then I've never stop watching it!

i watched the first episode when it was like season two, i felt really stupid missing out on a lot.. and so i watched some reruns and got eventually hooked, bought the first two DVDs and still can't get enough of GA.

hehe who can? my parents are confused that I watch the episodes over and over again.... they think it becomes boring, but yeah... they don't watch grey's!

im so guilty of watching the shows over and over to, but I did find out my father who is 49 is a huge fan, i kinda found that weird, do you think that is weird?

Today I was eating lunch with my mother and she asked me if Izzie has a boyfriend right now! (my parents always ask things about izzie because one of my rabbits is called izzie) so they are interested, but they don't watch it really...

I read something about it in the newspaper the day of the first episode, and then watched it....been totally addicted since.

I've always been a great fan of ER (I still am), so I was very excited when I heard a new tv program about doctors and interns was about to be aired.
So, I started watching it and I immediatly fell in love with McDreamy :lol: And I've been addicted ever since B)

My Mom is 52, my Stepdad is 58, they are both fans, lol. My Mom actually got me hooked on Grey's.
