And omg, the promo! Derek is going to cheat on her with another girl!! I hope its not what i think it is. I'm so pissed and i swear if shonda breaks merder up again, i'm going to kill her. I dont know what i'm going to do.

Still watching so am posting impressions as the scenes happen. I felt so bad for Addison when she found out she couldn't have kids and just now when Pete put the needles in her head saying that it would clear psychic pain and she's laying there saying there's no pain and then breaks down crying about the fact that she's barren.

All i see is derek looking at this mystery girl, giving her the "look" and someone asks somebody if they want to buy them a drink.

I hope its not what i think it is. I hope he doesnt cheat.

Ok long review for my addie

First I have to say WHY SUSAN?!?! She was a good person and I actually liked her why couldn't they have had thatcher leave?! That bastard! Yeesh!
Callie and Cristina huh?! Weird combo. first the weird talk in the hall then the cards and now a bridesmaid. hmm.

Now moving on to who the whole episode was basically about and focused on, Addison. Ok that was so weird for me to watch that it was like looking in a mirror and seeing a prettier version of me and what i would do. eerie. The elevator hahahahahahahaha i laughed my head off. FAn freakin tastic that's it she stole my catchphrase. Fart logic hehehe. I felt so bad for her though when she couldn't have a baby and when mark really did want her but lied to make her feel better awww totally understood the feelings conveyed in this epi. :sob:

I still want to go to LA and Slap Shonda though. but then i would have to give her a hug for creating a show and then ramble on about how angry i am for having addie even go to LA. urgh

I'm sad Susan died.

I'm sad Addi is "dried up." I was looking forward to her possibly being pregnant.

How DARE Thatcher slap Meredith. Just when I thought they were getting closer.

*tears* Ok, just want to say how sucky it is that just as Meredith gets a 'mom' that is actually nice and cares about her feelings instead of an overbearing, unapproving mother, they go and kill her! Her dad can't even really look at her when they talk or am I the only one that noticed that? Can I hope that that part of the episode was a nod to Dallas and it will be a dream like when Pam dreamed that Bobby was dead? I know that its not a dream but I can still pretend for awhile.

Oh wait, George and Izzy just kissed big time and sober too! I like Ava and hope that she gets with Alex because they are cute and she gets him. Sucks the surgery didn't restore her memory but cool she can speak 4 languages....though she can't remember that fact.

WHAT the HELL?!?! That asshole just hit Mer! I don't care how hurt he is that isnt right. And Dereck trying to stop Mer when she ran off. He should have hit her dad back for her. Of course if he would have done that then I would probably be saying that he was an ass for hitting him.

I wasn't sure if I would like the spin off but I may just have to watch it now. I like the actors they have and the characters show promise.

sad susan died and mer's dad slapping her wow just when they were starting to talk. izzy and george :wub: omg and he actully kissed her will be interesting to see how that plays out .. and if derek does cheat after all he put meredith though :ninja: .....christina and burke i hope they don't mess it up. im not sure how i feel about the spin off anyone else feel they kind of forced it on us . im sure i will watch seems like a good cast and the elevator scene at the end was funny but i was feeling "the diet coke" moment .

i gotta say i'm loving the christina and callie relationship. they are kinda similar in certain ways i guess.

gah, and izzie is really starting to get on my nerves! stay away from george and callie!!!

Thatcher - You crazy old fool. Seriously! Oh and anyone catch how he said Lexi is starting her residency soon. HMMM HMMMM, Why do I see Lexi Grey showing up in Seattle Grace sometime in the near future? HMMM.

Derek - If you cheat on Meredith I will hurt you even if you are a fictional character with fantastic hair.

Callie - You and Cristina should be BFF & E. I love them together, they are hilarious and so similiar but different enough that its not an overload of...bitch. How awesome is Callie for being civil with Izzie despite how much of a brat Izzie is on a regular basis to her. I love Callie, I guess I will let her operate on Derek after I hurt him.

Cristina - she's trying, give her a cookie. Love her and Callie.

Addison - Addison + Elevators = my OTP. SERIOUSLY. I loved Addie this whole episode, she was cute, and tragic and funny, oh this made me miss LA so much though when she was driving down the 101 I got emo. ANYWAYS. Loved her parts. Hated Amy Brennemans. She bored me. Other spin off people mildly entertaining, spin off won't be too bad, honestly. The Violet stuff justs eemed out of place tonight, like...too forced. We dont know this chick and she's getting all these solo scenes I'm like huh?

Mark - Baby come on over here and I'll get your mind off that big bad Addison monster. The scene with he and Derek? Priceless. Even if Derek is an ass.

George - Oh god just hook Gizzie up already. Stop with the no, then yes, then no, then yes. Just do it. Either you end Torlley or you end Gizzie. PICK ONE SHONDA so we can stop suffering. And if you break poor Callie's heart at elast give her a nice guy to put the pieces together. SERIOUSLY. I'm not happy 'til Callie happy.

Izzie - hahaha, she's afraid of Callie. I'm really starting to miss Season 1-2 Izzie. *le sigh* She's no fun since she joined the Dirty Mistresses Club and yes I can go there cuz I'm the biggest Izzie fan ever so I can actually go there and not be like...kicked out of the club? There's the promo, meredith actually sees derek talk to this broad. Aww, poor mer :(. Do they just pile everything on meredith? Can they please just leave the poor girl alone? Damn. She nearly died with the whole drowning thing, her mother dies, derek continues to be an ass to her, her father slaps her, derek doent come running to her side(well he kinda does but i think he could have protected her more, he sees her drinking with her buddies, he becomes a hermit and isnt there for her and her closet thing to a loving parent dies? Are you kidding me?

This episode in my opinion was horrible. I think a total of about 20 minutes of grey's was shown and the rest was PP. And the private practice part was horrific . I know they wanted to sell the spinoff but please dont shove it down my face. Incredibly boring and it just didnt do anything for me. I love addison, dont get me wrong but keep her on grey's, please. I felt tricked into watching it, it was a waste of my 2. I could of just went to bed and recorded it, instead i stay up to watch it and i cant keep myself up.

And i loved the Gizzie kiss :wub: awww. Addison and Pete were pretty cool. Only bright spot about PP.

I totally agree with you about pp BORING I didn't like it very much I thought it was just me tho... hahaah remember when mer walked in and der had a woman sitting on his bed... and it turned out to be his sister maybe that is what this is about I don't know probably wrong but a woman can wish can't she :P

OMG the elevators!!! I was on the ground laughing the entire time she was in the elevator especially the first scene in the elevator. Violet was just boring but the other characters were fairly interesting. Addie Love :wub:

I am an early bird so I fell asleep on the last half hour of the show...I just finished watching it online. I'm not 100% sure of the spin off, but it shows promise. I can't stand the fact that MerDer are having issues, but I guess it makes for good t.v.

The whole Susan thing came out of left field was not expecting that. There is never any excuse for a man hitting a woman. I would have liked to feel bad for Thatcher, but I can't. He hit Mer!!!

I wonder were they are going with tha "Avex" storyline...It's heartwarming thus far.

ok so my first thought on this two hour special was, hated it, it was like 5 sec greys and then 10 min spin off, I love Addison and her character does deserve this, but I didnt like it, I cant see myself watching this show, They just need to say good bye to the idea and leave greys alone, and yeah agree with all of you why susan, and thatcher had to right, no matter how upset he was, and the promos it derek does anything, I'll be pissed merder forever!

Ok, so it is not that i am even particulary against the spin-off...but what right o they have calling those two episodes Greys Anatomy! Because it wasn't GA and now i just feel tricked into watching a completely different show! Its like they have stolen two precious episodes from our nearly over season of GA!!!! :angry:
I did love the bits of GA that were in there though! Mark talking to Derek and showing his sacrafice really made me feel for him and he was obviously very concerned about Addie! And OMG when Thatcher slapped Meredith i like jumped 10 feet in the air even though i knew it was coming! They did do it very well despite it just being SO unfair on Meredith after all she has been through!!! With Derek, Bailey and the Chief watching! And i liked he way Derek tried to catch her, that was the old Derek again!!! But when he saw her drinking with her friends and walked away... :huh: :( :unsure:
Burke is really annoying me cause Christina is trying really hard and he is just like it isnt enough 'i want i want i want'!!! He should listen to her for once!!!
And though i think Izzie is going about the gizzie thing all wrong it is interesting to watch her reactions to Callie! Aww poor Callie she is really trying to and she deserves better than George seems able to give her!

I loved the episode. So much stuff for just a 2 hr episode. I was sad when Addison found out that she couldn't have children. But I did find it freakin' hilarious when she was in the elevator talking to that guy about how the elevator at SGH was an aphrodisiac. and finding out that the elevator was no god but a security officer having fun playing with Addison's mind. :lol:

I figured that it was going to Thatcher who was going to hit Meredith. It makes me sad that they killed off Susan; just when Meredith was finally getting a mom, a step-mom, but still a mom. Thatcher and Meredith were just getting closer now. I understand the pain that he was going through and thinking that his daughter lied to him when she said that Susan would be ok and then ends up dying. However, its still no excuse for him to hit her.

Absolutely loved when Izzie and Georged kissed and then stopped and the next second the elevator opens and its Callie. I just wish George would pick one of them already. I love both characters so I can not really choose which I like better, although a part of me says to pick Izzie because of the whole best friend thing, it seems to work out so much better.

The spin-off does seem to sound like its going to be good. I will probably end up watching it just because its a part of GA and I like the character Addison. Pete was cute :P .
