I just want to know what you guys think about it.

Worried fans of "Grey's Anatomy" are wondering - who is that bar whore McDreamy is chatting with in next episode's promo and will he cheat on Meredith? As E! Online reports, the actress who plays her may be joining the drama next season.

Two years ago, actress Kate Walsh was one of the most "hated" women in America after her character Addison Montgomery joined "Grey's Anatomy" in the first season cliffhanger threatening to take Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) away from the title character Meredith (Ellen Pompeo.)

In the meantime Kate, who has remained on the medical drama, as she herself puts it, "like a house guest who wouldn't leave," is today one of its most popular characters.

Furthermore, the producers are putting together a new spin-off series based on her character leaving for greener pastures, or that is, sandy beaches of L.A.

Will "Reunion" alum Chyler Leigh who, as E! Online reports, has been offered a multiple episode-arc for next season, also be that lucky?

Given the negative reception two seconds of her character's appearance in this week's episode promo have generated, that will be highly unlikely.

I highly doubt that she will be liked by anybody, so I agree. She defenitely will not be as lucky as KW. Addison was written to be in Kate Walsh's word "The underbelly of the beast." She wasnt meant be seen as a complete bitch, she was written with an actual heart. Not just to be there to make Meredith and Derek's life hell.

Those small 2 seconds are all it takes for this "bar-girl" to be hated. I guess people are likely to hate her more because we all know that merder have been a bit rocky the past couple episodes, but this girl just adds to that complication.

And the fact that Derek could possibly cheat on Meredith with this girl even adds even more to the frustration. It was more understandable with addison's apperance because it just happened and derek was simple trying to start over and run away from his past. Addison cheated on him and he wanted desperatly to just leave and forget.

I would be really suprised if anything happened between the two. We all know how well Derek took Addison's cheating, i doubt he would put that pain amongst meredith

yeah.. He's been cheated on, so why would he do that to Meredith? ughh I do NOT like her! :angry:

Addison wasnt just some random women, they had history which sort of made her acceptable so that we could get to know her ( and :wub: her) ...some random women hitting on Derek is SO not going to be liked!!!

I have a bad feeling that the whole confrontation at the bar thing is going to happen at the very end of the show and it might end open ended. So we might have to until next week to see how this works itself out :(

I'm dying to figure out who this girl is. I'm trying to feel sympathetic for this poor actress who is being beyondly hated by many people and yet there is no solid proof of anything going on between der and her. I guess we just have to wait and see.

But i dont think this will be a good thing! i mean how messed up are things between mer & her Dad, im guessing the two sisters have Very mixed feeling towards mer! And she will be and intern so that will be wierd! And there is so going to be a Lexi-Derek issue!!!

I hope he understands that he can't have something with her because she is family from mer and that he leaves her for what she is... maybe that she gets with another doctor, so that she isn't available anymore!

I sort of cant be bothered with Lexi coming in for like a 12 episode arc because there can only EVER be ONE meredith and having to watch and get to know her sister will just annoy me!!!
I think that is just me now though, i will just have to see what happens and knowing me i will probably change my mind anyway!!!
