Yeah i agree Chandra did do an amazing job too! I don't actually think we will get that many nominations for GA but i do hope they get some!

more emmy news - KH has been quoted as saying this:

“I am truly grateful for the honor that the Academy bestowed upon me last year. I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the Academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention. In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials.”

make of it what you will, i guess KH lovers will say she's noble, and KH haters will say shes making it all about her and blaming the writers (and shonda) . . . i'm personally not bothered either way, my only concern is with EP! lol

Shonda TOTALLY deserves a nom for the finale! The show deserves one as well, not just for those two episodes, but for MOST of the season *coughLastSixcough*. Brooke- TOTALLY!

But…

I am NOT being biased when I say Sara Ramirez FULLY should submit stuff from this season for Emmy consideration. She DESERVES it! If you compare Callie's role in past seasons to this season, you can see that Sara has played her amazingly. IF that made any sense :P

I actually preferred Sara's S3 stuff over S4... But that may be because I can hardly remember most of everything. When the DVDs come out, I'll be better able to judge; for some reason nothing sticks until I watch it 2-3 times.

Which is why I didn't throw a hissy or even mention it in my first post, because I think her performance wasn't Emmy worthy. (OMG I SAID IT!) Her role or whatever for this season didn't call for the same phenomenal acting that she got rewarded for before. I am glad she recognizes that and isn't like "OMG I deserve and Emmy from now on!!!". She realizes she still needs to WORK for her rewards and awards. That I think is a very good thing; there are a lot of people who I think win at something and they don't deserve it. Not sure if it comes off this way, but I am very critical of people I am big fans of; I scutinize and analyze everything and I will be the first to admit they did something dumb or they sucked at something. But you know I love her and she's by absolute favorite, and she IS an amazing actress and very talented. :P The writers did fuck her character up majorly. Not their fault per se, but I don't think she's wrong when she says she wasn't given Emmy worthy material. Neither was Justin (Save that last epi) or Patrick. It's hard to write for so many people and let them ALL shine, so I get it.

Oh! And speaking of which... Freedom should totally win over Crash Into Me. I was far more riveted/spellbound by Freedom. (And Izzie was barely in it at all, that tells you something!)

DUDE, Ellen better freaking be nominated for SOMETHING! She has done great with everything she has gotten in pretty much every season and has yet to win it seems. C'mon! I'm rooting for her!!!

Totally agreed josh! Even if you hate Meredith as a character and find her whiny and annoying etc etc (which of course i DONT! lol) you cannot deny how great Ellen's acting has been!

As for SR i love her too bits and would love for her to get some recognition however i did prefer some of her s3 stuff (i hated all the callie-bashing we ended up getting at the start of s4!) especially the scene before the horrible gizzie sex, when her and george have the HUGE argument! SR was amazing in that scene, my heart broke for her when she was soooo angry and her eyes were full of tears! :rockstar:

Oh and yeah freedom was wayyyyyy better than crash into me, i actually thought Ellen would choose freedom as her episode, but she was great in both anyway lmao Shonda & co totally pulled it out of the bag in the pre-strike episodes. . . GO TEAM SHONDA :D

I heard that Sara put her name in for a nom! I don't know where she got the info, but someone on YouTube just mailed me and said that! I HOPE SHE GETS IT!
