This is going to work exactly as the original did except we're going to write our own Season 4. Faithful readers of the original thread fear not! We are NOT abandoning it, are you kidding? We invested so much time in it. Plus, who doesn't love Lulu & Hannah?

So, here's how this works. After the finale, we'll start this up.

She poured her heart out. Poured her heart out and told him she loved him, that she'd always love him. Hell, she even told him she'd be there if he picked Callie instead of her. And then as a crushing blow to an already breaking heart, Callie Torres-O'Malley gave an enthralled smile and other joyful expressions as she delivered the news that they were going to try and have a baby.

She had been defeated, they were trying to have a child. George picked Callie, he picked Callie by agreeing for her to ebar his child and he left Izzie with more questions than answers, hell, he left her with NO answers, a knot in her stomach and a pain in her heart.

A baby? A BABY? He couldn't even get up the nerve to tell his wife he cheated on her and it was very possible at that moment the O'Malley baby was implanting itself in her womb. A BABY? Izzie tried hard to hold back tears, a blank expression turned to a sorrowful one.

She had no idea what the future held. At that moment, she knew comfort existed in only one place...the bathroom floor.

He put up his walls.

He fell for her and he fell hard and like every girl he felt for...he pushed her away and acted like he didn't care. And she was gone, gone and would soon move on a life out her life, hopefully with more fulfillment and a flat in New York.

She was gone.

He was too late.

She looked at Derek, he had never looked so sincere..
"I- I have to go check on Christina. I have to make sure she makes it down the isle."
"Let's go, we're already late..." Derek replied with a sad look on his face.

As Meredith walked away from him, she felt something inside her telling her to turn around. Her stomach was in knots. What did she just do?? ..she loved him..she really did, but she had never been so confused in her entire life. Just the other day he was saying how he doesnt want to breathe for her anymore, now shes 'The love of his life'? What am I supposed to think? she thought to herself... I DO love him...I know I do..so why is this so hard for me? They walked out of the hospital and made their way to the wedding.

"STOP WHINING! You will go down that isle..and you will get married!"

"Okay, i'm good!" Christina said, trying to stay confident.

Meredith NEEDED Christina to get married..she needed her to do it for both of them. She needed reassurence..to believe that something good can happen to girls like them..that they acually can have a happy ending..

As the time passed, Burke walked through the large doors. He didn't look to pleased. Meredith held her breath..they have to go through with this wedding...they HAVE to! no.....the words that were coming out of Burke's mouth suprised everyone..no more wedding? It CAN'T be...Meredith was speechless, as well as everyone else.

Now she was the one to tell everyone in the church the bad news. She walked through the doors and down the isle..she saw Derek standing with a nervous look on his face.

"Everyone can go home now, the wedding is over. It's over. It's so over.."
Meredith felt Derek's eyes on her..

Was it really over? she thought. Was EVERYTHING truely over??

Alexandria Elizabeth Grey was nervous, nervous and excited and filled with raw emotion. She wished her mother had been there that morning as she gathered her things and left for the first day of her internship. The day before, she had laid her mother in the cool, damp earth and said her final goodbyes. Life wasn't supposed to work out like this, her mother was supposed to be there to watch her neice Laura grow big and strong, to be there the day that she herself, Lexie, the wild and stubborn one, got married and had her own children. Who would startch her father's shirts and make sure he took his vitamins now?

She walked through the electric sliding doors and unfolded her arms from her chest, that distinct hospital smell overwhelmed her as she followed the signs that read "first year interns - this way". She remembered a few faces from the mixer the night before but no one stood out.

"Lexie Grey?" She heard them read off the roster.

Lexie raised her arm and gave a small smile, "Here."

"You are with Doctor Torres-O'Malley," the woman stated.

Lexie nodded and after some small talk the small group she was in made their way to the locker room.

She made small talk with a nice, pretty handsome young man who introduced himself as George,

She introduced herself before following the rest of the group to the cafeteria.

She couldn't stop thinking about her mother, every little thing made her think of Susan Grey and it made her stomach hurt.

But then the thoughts of someone else filled her mind, Meredith. Meredith Grey. Her father had let it all slip over the last few days over cheap wine and liqour.

"Your SISTER...Your STUPID sister...that...that..." Thatcher has slurred.

Lexie gasped, assuming he was talking about Molly, but when Meredith slid from his tongue, Lexie had been taken aback.

She had known all along that he had another daughter, but now that other daughter had a name. Meredith.

"Meredith? My sister...Dad...what about her?"

"She promised...SHE PROMISED. She's no doctor...how the hell did she get through med school!"

"Dad..doctor...she's...a doctor...at Seattle Grace?"

The cat was out of the bag. The very sister she had spent her life wondering about was a doctor...a doctor at Seattle Grace. She would be working with the sister she never knew.

Chief Resident Calliope Torres-O’Malley has a nice ring to it, Callie smiled to herself. Everything was perfect right now and everything was falling into place. George had agreed to try and have a baby with her and she had gotten what she had been working towards all year; Chief Resident. Nobody could take this feeling away from her, not even seeing Izzie sitting in the pews with the disappointed look on her face. She wasn’t going to let that get in the way of her much needed happiness.

Ever since she had gotten together with George everything had come in the way of their relationship. His friends mainly Izzie Stevens but things were going to change and Callie couldn’t be happier even if she tried. She had told Izzie about George and her trying for a baby, more so trying that very day, on purpose. She was sick of playing second fiddle to Izzie Stevens and things were going to change, finally.

She couldn’t help but feel good after telling Izzie about her plans with George. Maybe if Izzie had been nice to her she would’ve felt differently but Izzie had acted like nothing but a big baby ever since George and she met.

Cristina; Callie couldn’t help but to think what if her and George had gone through with a big wedding. Would George back out at the last possible minute and leave her standing there in a beautiful elegant white wedding dress or would he wait for her at the altar and watch her walk down that aisle. Everything was moving so fast, Callie was just glad that she had George.

Lexie didn't see her. She didn't find Meredith, she didn't even catch a glimpse of her in passing. Apparently there was some huge wedding fiasco going on and so half the staff was gone, in a daze or just not concerned with first year interns in the slightest. Lexie introduced herself to as much of the staff as she could, including Nurse Debbie who just raised an eyebrow at her and muttered something about 'sleeping with attendings'.

Lexie set up her locker and then grabbed her purse and made her way back to her father's house. She was happy to see her sisters car in the driveway when she pulled up. Molly was staying at their father's house with her infant daughter, Laura because her husband went on his 3rd tour of Iraq. Molly was very involved in Gymboree and other Mommy/Baby things but since their mother passed she was home a lot more and it comforted Lexie.

Lexie pushed through the front door to see her father, Thatcher asleep on the couch, snoring rather loudly. She grabbed a blanket from the back of the couch and covered him with it before planting a kiss on her baby neices forehead, Laura was also sleeping, looking rather comfortable in her baby swing.

"Lex...that you?" Molly called out from the kitchen.

Lexie made her way into the kitchen, jumping up to sit on the counter.

"So..." Molly said with a wide smile. Molly grabbed two spoons from the drawer and a tub of ice cream from the freezer.

She opened the ice cream, setting it next to Lexie and handing her a spoon. Lexie gasped as she peered into the tub, "Oh you did NOT eat all the strawberry..." she groaned as she noticed only chocolate and vanilla left in the Neopolitan ice cream. "You SUCK, you know I love the strawberry and loathe the chocolate."

Molly shrugged and dug out a spoonful of Vanilla.

"So, I saw a cute guy," Lexie grinned. "But he's leaving or something, just my luck, right?"

'Geez Lexie, you're about to start this crazy, high-powered, dreamjob ...and the thing you notice is a cute guy!!! What are you like?!'
Lexie just smirked cheekily, and Molly wondered what she would do without her big sister.
It had been so hard the last couple of days, even the old house seemed to miss their mom; it was too quite now and all the comfort had left it the day she died. Like it wasn't hard enough to be a first-time mother with an absent husband!
Molly had come straight home when she heard of course, she was needed here and besides her one bed appartment in the city was way more lonely than she would ever admit, even with her sweet baby taking up every moment of her time. Yes she still had Laura...but Laura would grow up without her Grandmother and THAT was something Molly just couldn't imagine.

It was only when a shiver ran down her spine that Molly noticed Lexie watching her...
'Sorry Lex im just tired, so tell me about this guy of yours!'

Thankgod for sisters.

Lexie shoveled a scoop of ice cream in her mouth and smiled, "Oh come on, you know me and cute boys," Lexie giggled.

"Yes, trust me...I KNOW," Molly laughed. Lexie was rather forward when it came to men and loved to play the field. She was friendly and open but Molly wondered if she would ever just settle down. Sure, Molly had settled down at twenty two and Lexie was twenty six, she still had plenty of time to play the field but she also worried Molly.

"He had these amazing eyes...he was cute. REALLY cute..."

"Cuter than bar guy?"

"Oh bar guy...wow, he was...dreamy? I dunno, this one...there was something about him that just grabbed me. You know me commitment phobe and all but I got this vibe...I mean he was talking about appendectomies and all I wanted to do was run my fingers through his hair...UGH, where is my mind?"

"Obviously on cute guys," Molly laughed.

"The hospital is nice, nicer than you made it out to be! I didn't meet my Resident, she was at a wedding, tomorrow I have to be in at FIVE and it's my first actual day of work. I'm pretty stoked but..."

Molly noticed Lexie's tone change and her eyes shift, she knew exactly what she was thinking about because she couldn't stop thinking about her either, Meredith Grey.
