Advertisements for pills, porn...etc. Basically the same as the emails just posted on a board.

don't know if this is a silly question, but how do they post these spams if they aren't registered users? if they are guests, maybe you can limit access to threads, you know, like only allow certain threads to be seen by guests. if the spammers are registered members, then it would be easy to identify them, right? am i making sense?

Yeah they register themselves but they just keep doing it. They make names and I delete them but its not a specific group of people it's TONS of people, so there's really no way to keep them off the boards, which sucks.

sorry to hear that; you really must have your work cut out for you. i think there's a way to track ip addresses and ban them from entering the site, right? not sure if this service is free, but it may solve the spamming problem.

Hm, thats a good idea. I'll have to talk to Josh. Its not hard to delete the spam and we get oh I'd say maybe 10 spam posts a week so its not to tedious? but its very annoying.

you can get a profile pic by checking out the fanart section and choose an avatar from there. You can upload any avatar you choose in the "my controls" section. You can also find some siggies in the fanart section :D
