So far all we know is...

McSteamy is set to be a whole new man next season.
TR Knight is set to be back (no official word yet though but his publicist swears this)

Awww, Mark is gonna die with Addison not being around. Who is he going to talk to?!

Hahaha, oooh yeah. I wonder if they will actually pair them up though, because a loooooooong time ago, I read on spoilerfix or something that "Izzie and McSteamy are on!". Maybe they are just pushing that to Season 4?

hmmmm part of me thinks that the Izzie/Mark thing would be awesome but the majority of me just isn't so sure. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.....but I hope that we do get to see more of mark next season!

ooh on ET or something today that I was watching it showed Patrick Dempsey and Eric Dane together at the racing thing and a voiceover said that their characters are going to be best buds next season.

^That's good, i've been hoping that they would finally mend things up. They've (including ED and PD) have been hinting they would become friends again.

It seems they are finally trying to make a real character out of Mark.

Maybe Mark can talk some sense into Meredith about her relationship with Derek. It's a possiblity. I think someone is going to give meredith a huge wake up call about how much of a good thing she is losing in dere if she leaves him. It's either Cristina, Alex, or mark. Thats what i think....

They are also seeking a new recurring male character to compete with Patrick Dempsey's Dr. McDreamy.

Nooooo! The cast is loaded as it is even with the loss of Addison and Burke. And plus look at Patrick, honestly, can anyone compete with him?

Mark is enough, he does more for me than derek personally but ugh we don't need another guy.

I hate to break it to some of you guys but as of a couple days ago it has been reported that Chyler Leigh has been offered a starring role on the show (with the departure of kate and isaiah), instead of the orignal "guest starring role". So her character might be here to stay instead of the only original 13 episode contract she was originally offered..... :sob:

See, i have a bad feeling that means Shonda will make lexie and derek a couple. I hope Shonda realizes that she will be losing TONS of viewers (maybe me, i'm not sure) if she puts them together. Thats just makes everything she has worked for with meredith and derek (couple wise) a waste.

I give lexie the benefit of the doubt, i'm not saying i'm not going to like her but i'm not going to crap on her like alot of merder fans too given her 1 minute screentime so far. I just do not like the idea of her being on the show for good, you know that means shonda may be up to no good.

I wonder why Mark is going to be a new man... I think it has something to do with the fact that maybe he really was trying very hard to change and when the chief dyed his hair for the ladies, Addison called him a manwhore... I think it really got to him.. In fact it kind of struck me when he ended it with Addison, that he told her, "Once a manwhore, always a manwhore, right?" He knew she didn't believe in him and he probably knew she was not going to take him seriously... Anyways, I know it's off topic, but when I read these posts, I just get ideas. lol.
